I do make alot of my own bread as I have always found the ready made gluten free breads to be rather dry and tasteless but have now found that Tesco's own make of gluten free loaf unsliced is good but also Waitrose sell a make called Genius that is really light, moist and well risen. And it freezes well. But at £2.89 a loaf I might stick to making my own and carry on experimenting with the recipe! It does well for emergency back up though. I am a bit wary of the amount of sugar in them too, when Meg was on the HFI diet of course she couldn't have any sugar at all so that ruled out most of the gluten free cooked range, these loaves do taste quite sweet and as we are slowly building up her sugar amounts I am cautious still. Does anyone have any good bread recipes, we can get the Dove gluten free flour ranges here which seem to work well.
