Hi, a full glass bottle fell off the top of my fridge/freezer and hit me on the back of the head 8 days ago. I felt slightly dizzy at the time and it hurt a lot but I didn't lose consciousness or be sick. The skin wasn't broken. I had a large lump, which has now mostly gone down. I didn't go to A&E or the doctor at the time and have carried on as normal with work etc. I am concerned though because it still hurts, not only painful and sensitive to the touch but also generally a dull ache/throbbing in that area. The initial dizziness went away quite quickly but yesterday and today I have been feeling a bit woozy and headachey with a feeling of pressure generally in my head. This might just be sinuses/slight head cold I have at the moment?? I figured with the time past that if it was anything serious I would have suffered from more significant concussion at the time or problems would have occured sooner. Plus it was a heavy bottle falling from height so not surprising if it is still bruised. But because the area of injury is now hurting more than it did before I am wondering if I need to get it checked out. I don't want to bother my doctor unnecessarily. If there was bleeding under the skin/swelling of brain or something then surely I would know more about it by now than a dull ache?? Please Help.
