Can anyone suggest a sugar-free multivitamin available in the UK? Our dietician has looked but there's none on prescription which don't include sucrose. Given my daughter went "off it" on sucrose-based calcium syrup we're keen to find one which is sucrose, sorbitol and fructose free.

Yes, use G&G vitamins. I found them purely by chance in a town local to us but they do supply over the internet too. We spent years finding a suitable one, they prescribed ascorbic acid for Megs but it was so bitter it even made me gag...... These vitamins are in capsules so when she is older she can swallow them but you can pull them open and sprinkle the powder on something on a teaspoon eg yoghurt. Their site is www.gandgvitamins.com I have put Megs on the 500mg vitamin C with bioflavenoids which apparently help its absorption. They do a good multivitamins one too.

We have just found out via the Medicine Advisory Service that the NHS Healthy Start Multivitamin drops (which are handed out for free in our area) are fructose free. They have "banana flavour" in them but apparently it doesn't contain fructose. Maybe it's chemical. They have much higher amounts of vitamins in them then the G&G ones Charlie, especially Vit D.

I might look into those, certainly sounds a good option if they really are sugar free. The vit D is good, Meg I am sure has a problem with that as she is always worse in the winter.
