It's been a while since I've given Kaelin any mayonnaise, but the other day I used some. I coated some fish, then fried it in some butter. There was no crumb coating or spices added or anything that I can think would cause a reaction. Her behavior spiraled out of control, plus she had a bad stomachache and took a couple of trips to the bathroom.
Soybean oil, eggs, vinegar... It lists 0 grams of sugar, but does say that it contains less than 2% of sugar, salt, lemon juice.
The only thing I can find about mayonnaise and FM is to avoid any with HFCS. I find almost nothing about soybean oil -- it wouldn't be my first choice of oil, but I'm not finding any place that says it is bad for FM.
Charlie, I know you posted a recipe for mayonnaise. Is there a particular reason that you started making it for Megan or is it just that you know it's not good for FM or maybe for HFI?

I started making it as all the ready made classic mayonnaise have sugar in it in Britain and Meg doesn't seem to do well with that.
The oil used may be an issue if it is soybean?
