Finding fructose-free toddler-friendly foods can be a challenge so I though we could share some ideas for people who visit this board. My suggestions are based on my daughter's current diet and are low-fructose but not low-fructan as my daughter tolerates fructans fine. She can also tolerate more veg than some and is also dairy and soya intolerant which is reflected in her diet.
BREAKFAST - Instant porridge oats combined with oatmilk - Sugar-free puffed rice cereal (I buy this from a healthfood store as the sugar-free version isn't available in out supermarkets). - Sugar-free wheatabix - she's fine with wheat. Also from the healthfood store.
LUNCH - Hummus sandwich using homemade hummus - I make a batch and freeze in ice-cube trays - Mashed banana sandwich using approx 1/4 banana - Riceballs made using plain sushi rice boiled in a rice cooker with added veg ie spinach, celery, mushrooms. Tuna and cucumber can also be added as you make up the balls. These can be made in advance and frozen as long as you defrost until piping hot and then allow to cool before eating. - Fishcakes using mash, smoked fish (read the label carefully for added ingredients) and spring onions or other finely chopped safe veg. I freeze these and fry from frozen until piping hot just before eating. - Mini turkey or beef burgers
DINNER - Macaroni cheese with added meat/safe veg - Dahl on rice - White fish parcels cooked in oven with safe veg and served with mash
SNACKS - Rice cakes - Oatcakes - Half a satsuma

Breakfast extra: unsmoked bacon and sausages (just check ingredients ) are great, great as finger food chopped in slices. If they are ok with wheat then Jacobs Cream crackers are great with cheese spread or marmite as a snack as well.
