Let's do different threads for different countries. This one can be for the UK. The main problem as I see it with safe products is that they may only be available in one country as safe and have unsafe ingredients in another. Smarties being one thing that springs to mind are fine in the US but have wheat and sugar in the UK.
If we start a different thread for each country and then we can post things as we find them in each thread.

Mayonnaise - this one is made by Plamil Foods, www.plamilfoods.co.uk it is an egg free mayonnaise and as far as I can see is pretty safe. It does have a bit of soya in but fairly small amounts. The best thing is it doesn't have sugar added so great if you are looking for low as possible fructose. Ingredients are: sunflower oil(53%), water (33%), cider vinegar, sea salt, soya beans (1%), mustard flour, stabilisers, Guar and Xanthan Gums, Lemon juice. I found it in Holland & Barrett but I think I have seen it in the Freefrom aisles in Tesco and Waitrose too. Meg has tried it several times and so far so good.

I have yet to find any stock cubes that are safe completely as most have onion powder. I will look up a few again. I tend to make my own stock out of meat bones, oxtails, chicken roast carcass etc. Then if extra flavour needed a bit of marmite seems to do the trick. Don't be confused by the marmite in the supermarkets, they have completely changed to label to a union jack, I embarrassed myself looking for it and asked a shop assistant as couldn't find any today and was standing right infront of it........
Marmite (vegemite to the aussies) is an essential in our larder.

Sesame Snaps - ingredients are sesame seeds, glucose, sugar. So the glucose will be in excess of fructose meaning that these should be OK for 'free fructose' avoiders, possibly not for 'total fructose' avoiders. We tried one with my daughter this afternoon and she loved it. Tomorrow will tell us whether it was OK or not!
