How does everyone get on with herb teas. Megan seems to have taken to fennel tea, not sure in response yet as having an up and down week anyway.
Are some better than others?

Hi I enjoy Pukka detox tea, which is soothing and tastes good too. I like green tea as well, but I'm not drinking so much of that at the moment as they say it helps you to lose weight... which is the last thing I need to do right now! White tea, like green, is full of antioxidants. But don't drink too much green tea if you need to avoid caffein.
Check the ingredients of herb teas, as some include chicory... which people with FM are advised to stay clear of.
Mint tea is supposedly good for IBS, but I have gilbert's syndrome as well as FM (I'm wondering if the two are linked), so for that reason I'm now avoiding mint tea.
Kind wishes
Peter

Ah, forgotten about mint tea, maybe try that, have ditched the fennel for now. I wonder if fennel is in the chicory family....... Will get out my gardening book sometime.
Welcome on board Peter,. what is gilbert's syndrome, I haven't come across it.

Fennel does not seem to be in the chicory family. Fennel and peppermint tea are good tummy soothers. They are highly recommended for IBS. I do not know how they affect those with FM
