I have read that turkey is high in tryptophan which I gather FM sufferers can be low in as the fructose blocks its absorption through the bowel so these are great, easy to cook and very tasty. Sorry I am a bit old fashioned and use ounces still.
8oz turkey mince 2oz grated cheese 1 beaten egg 2 slices of gluten free bread made into breadcrumbs. 1 teaspoon mixed herbs (optional) Salt and pepper to flavour.
Mix this all together then form into balls depending on what size you want them. Roll them in gluten free flour or cornflour, flatten slightly and then fry in oil or fat. You can deep fry them or shallow fry (they just come out slightly drier shallow fried and takes a little longer)
Megan uses Primula Cheese spread in a tube as a mayonnaise as we haven't got round to testing normal mayonnaise yet.
These can be used in a meal with spaghetti, with chips, or rice or cold as nibbles for packed lunches.
