Finally found something to put in this section. In England we have a chain of Zizzi's Italian restaurants. We went to one yesterday after a day out in London at the paralympics having had only plain picnic all day (I managed to convince them Meg had to have her own food and drink). Anyway, wow, how refreshing. Now chances are a tiny bit of sugar slipped in but they were so helpful and so so so accomodating I am going to email them and thank them. As always, whenever we eat out the stress builds up before we even walk in a door - will they be willing to help. Pasta is usually a safe bet if you can tolerate wheat but it always ends up a very plain dish. But for kids its very boring. So we looked at the kids menu and there was nothing on there she could have. However when asked they made her her own pizza with just cheese and ham (no tomato puree as she can't have it), and a frothy milk as a pudding instead of ice cream which went down a treat. She was relaxed through the whole meal and really enjoyed herself feeling a part of it. It did mean she had dairy but is fine this morning so obviously coped with that level. So that is one vote for Zizzi's.
